Iberostar Waves Tucan Playa del Carmen

The location of the resort was excellent, right on the beach with beautiful sand. Shade was important to us, and there were plenty of palapas available to provide relief from the sun. The beach was also well-maintained and kept clean, ensuring a pleasant experience. being in the center of the two resorts allowed for easy access to all the amenities and activities. We quickly became accustomed to the layout and knew exactly where everything was.

One downside was the lack of variety in the breakfast options. While the food was fresh, there were not enough choices to cater to everyone's taste.

I loved the beautiful jungle, beach, and wildlife. The service was amazing, with friendly staff and great amenities. The resort was clean and well-maintained, even during rainy days. The ambiance and atmosphere were perfect for romantic walks and relaxation.

Clean resort despite 3-day rain. Friendly staff and polite beach vendors. Abundant wildlife. Accommodating service with poolside and beach servers. Felt safe as a solo female traveler. Enjoyed a massage in the jungle during a thunderstorm.

The layout and surrounding landscapes of the hotel were stunning and well kept. the wedding package and coordination provided by the hotel was professional and well-executed. the cleanliness, food, and service at the hotel were impeccable. the set up for the wedding on the beach was amazing, with a conveniently located cocktail area and a clean and spacious private event location.

The breakfast and lunch buffets lacked variety, with the exact same food options offered every day. the beds in the rooms were quite hard and the lack of storage for clothes was inconvenient.

I recently stayed at a resort in Playa del Carmen and had a fantastic experience. The customer service was top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort.

Located on the beach with a tropical garden and animals. Spacious pool. Friendly and hardworking staff. Good food in buffet restaurant. Fun entertainment team. Swim up bar adds to the relaxation or fun atmosphere.

The location of the resort was ideal for us, with a beautiful beach just next to the resort and a spacious pool area. We enjoyed spending time at the sports bar, which offered a fun atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and we appreciated the daily housekeeping service to keep everything tidy.

The nightly shows were not up to par, as mentioned in one of the reviews.

This hotel is a luxurious haven, with exclusive amenities that exceeded my expectations. the outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, and beach access were just perfect. the Spa and wellness centre was a great addition, with a serene atmosphere, steam room and sauna. the Beauty treatment was of the highest quality, and the facial was amazing. the entertainment on offer throughout the day, with facials, manicures, and body scrubs, kept me relaxed and pampered. the sun terrace had sun loungers and beach umbrellas, with a beautiful garden area that provided peaceful surroundings that were perfect for relaxation.

The only minor issue I encountered at this hotel was a slight delay while I was getting ready for the amazing in-room breakfast. the Snack bar and Poolside snack bar provided excellent alternatives, along with dinner and lunch at an array of restaurants that were consistently good.
